The Boss has summed up the potential of the coming week: "Three points at Tooting and winning a trophy is the stuff that dreams are made of..."
On Wednesday it's the Cup Final. Oh yes!
But first, it's the away trip to the glitz and glamour of the London Borough of Merton to face Tooting and Mitcham (what?? both??) in what is truly a MASSIVE game. Well, for us it's massive. For TnM - who are safe, but going nowhere this year anyway - it's more about a bit of pride and a chance to get one over the visitors.
But we are without doubt on a roll. Right up there in the form league. Imperious, some might say. (If they had a dictionary to hand like on my phone.) Yet neither presumptuous nor supercilious. (...and a thesaurus too).
A win is what we need. And a win is what we'll be out to get.
So get out your glad rags, and head for the bright lights of Morden (Morden? Merton? Mitcham? - where exactly are we going??) for a crucial 90 minutes of hot Ryman action.
Yes. The stuff dreams are made of indeed.
Four words for this....
COME ON YOU WHITES!!

Tooting & Mitcham 1-1 Faversham Town
Starting line up:
William Godmon, Ryan Cooper, Jamie Maxted, Matthew Bourne, John Scarborough, Josh Stanford, Daniel Carrington, George Monger, Charley Robertson, Liam King, Dean Grant.
Not a bad result by any means, but come the end of the season how will we look back on this result? Only time will tell. We had the chances to win this games, so I suppose I'm erring on the side of 2 dropped points rather than one gained.
But, the worst possible start. On 4 minutes, T&M down their left, a cross arrowed into our area, finds an unmarked man, free header, well placed, gives our keeper no chance. 1-0. George Monger's high, forward ball is brought under control by Liam King, to just outside of the area, gets a low shot away, the wrong side of the right hand post. A Charley Robertson run is illegally curtailed. Dean Grant's free-kick cannons off of the wall, out to Jamie Maxted on the right, a turn and shot, but over. On 25, following some signalling to the bench, Jamie Maxted is off, replaced by Ashley Brown. T&M are awarded a free-kick, central position a few yard outside of the area. It's powerfully struck, but straight into the midriff of our keeper. A long, long clearance, Dean Grant gets a good head on, great touch, and Liam King is in. A snapshot is required, but over the bar it goes. Difficult chance. Ryan Cooper's long throw from the right, John Scarborough's backwards header is goalwards, but the T&M keeper goes to ground and gathers safely. And just before half-time, a high ball forward, Liam King's double header keeps us going forward, Dan Carrington sticks out a leg and flicks to Josh Stanford, around the area, leftside, beats his men, drifts inside, pulls the trigger and passed the keeper's dive into the right hand corner of the net. Fine, fine goal 1-1 at H-T.
Josh Stanford wins the ball on the left, inside to Liam King, inside again to Charley Robertson, the low shot whistles passed the left hand post. Not far away. Ashley Brown runs into space down the left, calls for the ball, Matthew Bourne delivers, Ashley sends a low ball into the area, met by Daniel Carrington, but sidefoots it well over the bar. That was one of those sharp intake of breath moments, accompanied by faces raised to the heavens. A great move, great chance-but it slips away. Charley Robertson gets down the right, delivers a cross crying out to be buried, Dean Grant meets with a bullet header, it's around the keeper, but still the keeper pulls out a terrific stop. Instinctive save. T&M manufacture a couple of chances. Moving the ball from left to right, their suddenly one on one with our keeper. Right side of the area, but the shot is well covered by our keeper at his left hand post. William Godmon is again called into action, diving to his left, a 30 yard snap shot is kept out. At the other end, George Monger right hand side, we've got four in the box, slides a pass to Dean Grant, but the shot is blocked. So time is ticking away, George Monger finds a lovely ball to pick out Liam King, left, just shy of the corner of the area. A blatant shove. Free-kick. It has to be now!! Charley Robertson steps up, struck with force, curling into the area, takes a very slight deflection off of a T&M defender's head and crashes back off of the crossbar. It would appear it's not our day. Damn! 1-1 at F-T.
So, we'll take the point and onwards. A busy April beckons, with plenty more on offer.
Reasons to be cheerful:
a) a cup final to look forward to on Wednesday. How bleedin' good does that sound. b) still very much in play-off contention. Plenty of twists and turns to come. c) an extraordinary season so far - exciting stuff.
