Oysters on the menu tonight!
Local derbies are always tough and I think Whitstable actually have a pretty decent squad this season.
But, I think we will be up for this - chance to stay second, close the gap on Burgess Hill etc.
See you later if your taking the short trip.
FAV Army!!

This is always one of my favourite encounters of the season.
It was Whitstable's visit to Salters Lane about 6 or 7 years ago that finally got me fed up of standing in relative silence while a bunch of half a dozen oysterboys sang and shouted their team through the 90 minutes. From then on I vowed to start being vocal. Loud and Proud! That, combined with the addition of a regular pre-match pint, and the rest as they say is, well, not exactly history...
Tonight, I intend to be particularly shouty!
See you later...

Went to the game last night and was impressed at the way the lilywhites came on strong in the second half.We had a great first 10 minutes or so in the first half but Whitstable did get back into the game and had a few half chances.Second half was a completely different story.Dominated the midfield, won the majority of challenges and once the first goal went in started to knock it around well.I dont think Simon had to make a save in the second half and looked unlucky with the penalty.Everyone played well but top marks for Dean Grant for the amount of running and his hold up play.

Outstanding performance, in the second half particularly, last night. This group of players are a joy to watch at the moment! Shame, a mad last-minute (for all) marred the game a little. Both players were a little silly to get involved in the scuffle so late on. But, the ref clearly wanted to make-up for just awarding the one yellow in a fairly clean Kent derby when a caution each clearly would have sufficed. The Whitstable players reaction clearly proved Ray's point on Kent Online two weeks ago about there being too much gamesmanship in non-league (what did they actually achieve by getting Sam sent-off?!) Bright side - gives Ashley, Dan, Giorgiou and co the chance to impress. Surprisingly, Whitstable fans have been quite complimentary on their forum (may be worth a read if you can tolerate some Oyster talk from our near rivals ) - oysterforum.forumotion.co.uk/Finally, a word on a fantastic attendance of 303 last night, brilliant support on a Tuesday night (even if it isn't that far to travel). Onto Saturday and another opportunity to win some welcome prize-money - £2,700 this time. See you there. FAV Army!
