Full-time score - Faversham Town 1 (Cooper) Dorking Wanderers 0.
I was a little worried after about 30 minutes with the rain starting to come down and not a huge amount of chances to speak of.
But we really turned the screw second half and I thought Dorking were lucky to only lose 1-0!
We did get a massive chunk of luck with a deflection completely wrong-footing their goalkeeper for the goal.
But the goal came 10 minutes after we had, had a shot saved, then scrambled off the line, with a defender heading a Cooper header from the resulting corner off the line, too.
So, swings and roundabouts.
Special mention for Bola, who took Botts' place and was very good tonight.
But another good team effort, which brought another cleansheet.
Onto the Semi-Final we go, how good does that sound!
Fingers crossed for more football Saturday at Corinthian-Casuals.

We are at home to either Sittingbourne or Corinthian-Casuals in the Semi-Final.
I think they play next week.

So, at home to Sittingbourne in the semi final - would have taken that back in August when we effectively named an under 21 team to play at Whitstable and had a less than full subs bench! What a great goal by George Monger that evening to equalise.
Good news tonight with Herne bay only drawing in league and South Park seemingly slipping away from contention too.
Dark, wet and windy this evening but things certainly hoting up our there.

Oh yes! Another local derby - and the pride of Swale at stake for a place in the Cup Final. (Not often that those particular words come up in conversation.) Bring on the Brickies!

Trying not to get ahead of myself as the semi final is still to be contended. However, the date / venue for the League cup final has just been announced so could at least pencil in our diaries?
Wednesday, April 6th at 7.30pm at Carshalton's ground.
