It's national Non League Day on Saturday 10th October - the annual event when all sorts of exciting and interesting things happen to encourage attendance and promote non League football in the community. www.nonleagueday.co.ukIt always coincides with the weekend when there's no Premier League games - so is an opportunity to get all those glory hunters who normally head up town to watch Chelsea or Arsenal or West Ham, to instead come down to Salter Lane and experience proper football right on their doorstep. We are at home to Dorking. How about a big push to get a massive crowd. 2 for 1 entry for Premier League season ticket holders? A bottle of Shepherd Neame beer at half time subbed by our ground sponsors? A half time penalty shootout competition for fans? Just a thought - & anything to get a few more punters through the turnstiles.. Come On You Whites !

So, a big day.
Indeed, it is non-league day, so hopefully there is a bumper crowd in Attendance for this fixture.
But it is also the start of a really tough run of games (Dorking (H), Folkestone (H), Folkestone (A) and swiftly finished off with Carshalton (A).
But, perhaps, in our current form that is exactly what we need - a few matches with the pressure off to play our own game.
Hopefully, non-league day is also a Faversham day.
See you tomorrow/today.
Fav Army!

Non League Day - Big Lilywhite Win Day! Crowd up by something over 50 above recent weeks. Another strong performance, but this time the deserved win is ours. And a brace for Stuart King. The floodgates have opened. Watch those goals start to fly in. Watch those points rack up. This is non League football. This is Faversham Town. Get in!
