The start of two back-to-back long away trips.
Peacehaven are finding life much harder in the Ryman South this time around.
But, I'm sure, they will be saying they think now is a good time to be playing us, based on our current form.

Peacehaven & Telscombe 1-0 Faversham Town
Starting line up:
William Godmon, Ryan Cooper, Ashley Brown, Matt Bourne, John Scarborough, Charley Robertson, George Monger, Wayne Wilson, Renford Tenyue, Dean Grant, Stuart King.
A fairly even contest and a draw would probably have been a fairer result. But when thing aren't going your way, well, you get results like this. Losing by the odd goal, when you could have just as easily won by the odd goal if Lady luck was on side (but at the moment she'd be flagged offside by an errant lino).
A game of relatively few chances, so I suppose not surprisng it was settled by just the one. But we had our fair share of those.
On 15, George Monger wins the ball in an advanced position, a chip into the box and Dean Grant is in on goal. The keeper comes to meet and blocks the shot. Intricate play outside of the P&T area, a fine passing move, the ball comes out to John Scarborough, a looped ball into the box, Stuart King is on the end of it, it's awkward, over the shoulder, but the improvised shot is over the bar. But we've fashioned two good chances. P&T break down their right, get to the byline, decent cross, met at the near post, on target. Our keeper makes a smart save, diving to his left to send it round the post. Good save. Another George Monger interception, plays in Dean Grant, the keeper makes a reasonably comfortable save diving to his left. Just before half-time, P&T force the ball into our net from a cross, only for the referee to rule the effort out for a foul on our keeper.
0-0 at H-T.
On 50 minutes and we nearly break the deadlock. Ryan Copper swings a glorious cross in from the right. Dean Grants meets at the back stick, fine header, across goal, but it hits the post and deflects away from goal. The P&T defense scramble the ball to safety. And 5 minutes later, P&T break down their right, the cross comes in, met by the header, across goal, hits the far post and in. And those five minutes, for me, define this contest-and how easily the result might have gone the other way. Two similar crosses, two headed attempts on goal, two srikes of the post. One deflects away to safety, the other deflects into the net. Fine margins indeed. Extremely fine. With 20 to go Liam King is on for the injured Dean Grant. With 10 to go, Jamie Maxted and Dave Botterill are on for Ashley Brown and Stuart King. We win a corner, our left, Wayne Wilson takes, Matt Bourne makes it his, the header is just wide, agonisingly so. Renford Tenyue is injured after an attack down our left (hope that's not serious), so we're down to ten for the final moments. And our final chance, Wayne Wilson, Ryan Cooper and Dave Botterill combine down the right, Dave Botterill has a sight of goal, but the curling shot is wide of the left hand post.
1-0 at F-T.
So, admittedly, the combination of a long haul away trip and a defeat, albeit a close one, is not on anyone's list of favourite things. But, I maintain, there is always:
Reasons to be cheerful:
a) despite our recent run, still only 3 points off that coveted play-off spot. Teams above us, who are allegedly "having good starts" are still within touching distance. The league still hasn't settled down. b) that defensive record still looks pretty good to me. c) we go again Tuesday, Three Bridges away. Can't wait. See you there.
