Back to Ryman South action we go.
Important to get a win after a defeat to Herne Bay in our last league fixture and our two FA Cup games.
South Park have actually made a reasonably similar start to us.
They are only on 12 points but have also only played six matches, so it's entirely plausible they could take four points from those games in hand and end up in a similar situation to ourselves.
However, they have lost their top goalscorer last season to Burgess Hill - I think he shared the golden boot with Folkestone's Ian Draycott but I might be wrong.
Of course, tomorrow also gives us the perfect chance to extend the gap between the sides.
See you tomorrow.

Full-time score: Faversham 1 (Monger) South Park 2.
It's time to really get behind Ray, Clive and the boys on Tuesday because things haven't been going our way of late but we need to get back to winning ways as soon as we can.

Faversham Town 1-2 South Park
Starting line up:
William Godmon, Ryan Cooper, Jamie Maxted, Matt Bourne, John Scarborough, Dave Botterill, George Monger, Wayne Wilson, Charley Robertson, Renford Tenyue, Dean Grant.
They all hurt don't they? Defeats I mean. But, and I'm speaking personally here, this one really hurts. So, why? Why does this one really hurt? Well, (and I'm still in personal opinion mode), I suppose because it doesn't feel like we've deserved to be on the losing side. A sense of perceived injustice perhaps. A common affliction of us footy fans I grant you, but I still maintain, we didn't deserve to lose this game.
But, cold facts say we have. So onwards.
A decent early chance. A fine Wayne Wilson ball releases Renford Tenyue, wide right, a deep cross to the back stick, Dean Grant's header is not far away. But we concede on 11. A long looping throw from their left, into the area, their 9's header, loops into the right hand side of the net. 0-1. We respond well. Jamie Maxted drives forward, beats 2 men, get a shot away, but straight into the keepers' midriff. A fine flowing move, George Monger feeds Renford Tenyue, another shot on target, keeper saves. Charley Robertson runs at the defense, finds Dean Grant, shoots, keeper turns it away for a corner. And on 25, the equaliser we'd deserved, Charley Robertson, left, drifts inside, now right, ball back inside to George Monger, edge of the box, drilled, low shot into the far corner. fine goal. We push on. Dean Grant, right, muscles passed 2 defenders, a piledriver of a shot, keeper gets a hand to it, it's still going in, we're up celebrating, hits the post and away. So bleedin' close. A final chance in the half, Wayne Wilson plays in Charley Robertson, another drive at the defense, South Park concede the foul, just outside the D. Wayne Wilson's free-kick is just wide.
1-1 at H-T.
Second half. More chances. Jamie Maxted, into the South Park half, a fine raking ball into the box, Renford Tenyue finds space, meets, but the header sails just passed the left hand post. Not far away. A throw from our left, long throw from Ryan Cooper, Dave Botterill gets a telling header into the 6 yard area, Renford Tenyue gets in another good position, but over the bar it goes. On another day, that flies into the net. With 65 gone, a corner to us, South Park break and we're suddenly 2 defenders vs 3 attackers, South Park attack down their left, edge of the box, shot, our keeper makes a decent save, but the ball ricochets into the path of a free South Park man, who makes no mistake from close range. So against the run of play we're 1-2 down. With their tails up, South Park attack straight from the kick off, our keeper makes a fine save to keep us in the game. With 20 to go Dave Botterill is given a straight red for a deemed foul challenge. A yellow yes, red, very harsh. So we're down to 10 men. A double substitution soon follows, 15 to go, Stuart King and Dan Carrington are on for Matt Bourne and John Scarborough. But, as the minutes tick by, we're finding decent chances difficult to come by. With seconds to go, Stuart King is tripped on the edge of the area, free-kick right on the edge. Almost too close, but a chance. Wayne Wilson strikes, well struck, but deflects (off a shoulder I think) for a corner. South Park clear the corner.
1-2 at F-T.
I feel straight to reasons to be cheerful is appropriate:
a) Dave Botterill - 250 appearances for FTFC. Fantastic achievement. Top player for FTFC. b) footy to look forward to on Tuesday evening. Carshalton visit. c) FTFC - a fantastic place to be on a Saturday afternoon. COYW.
Sponsors' MOM: Renford Tenyue.
And before I sign off, to echo FAV Armys' sentiments, big game on Tuesday, ShoutyMen, ShedEnders, BarEnders, SittingDowners, StandingUppers, All, loads of noise, COYW.
