Ok, so I agree with everything ShoutyMark has said on a previous Forum about getting behind the team for the Play-offs.
But, we do still have one more game to play before then!
Yes - there isn't a huge amount to play for.
We look unlikely to finish second after the Hastings defeat last week.
However, we look like we will be playing a strong squad and using the game as a real dress-rehearsal.
It will be of no harm to win comfortably, of course and give ourselves a chance.
Then, we will have to see whether Burgess Hill are in the mood to do us a favour or not.
But, to be honest, I think I would rather we played Merstham on Tuesday anyway!
Either way, we can be very proud of everything the lads have achieved this season.
And, of course, it will be a special day for Ashley Brown tomorrow.
I hope he has a good match, although let's be honest, when does Mr consistent not have a good game.
See you tomorrow and start a mammoth week for the club.

Yes. Today is a biggie in its own right. Alongside celebrations of the remarkable Mr Ashley Brown, and I hope an opportunity to mark the heroic achievements of the Under 21s this season, I anticipate there will be a fair degree of phone-watching as the Ryman Livescores keeps us up to date with the goings on at Folkestone. And of course, someone will need to keep count of the shedful of goals we'll be scoring ourselves. A great afternoon in store!
And then, only then, on to Tuesday Night!
COME ON YOU WHITES!

A fantastic final result. After a shaky start, the team really pulled it together as the game wore on. The rising tally of goals was totally justified - and could have been several more to boot.
But much of the afternoon was spoilt for me by what appeared to be ignorant and totally unacceptable abuse of several Walton players at the end of the first half by someone purporting to be a football supporter. Full credit to the Club for acting quickly as soon as it was realised what was happening (not easy in the heat of a competitive match)and bringing round stewards to escort him out of the ground - hopefully never to return. And credit to the player for not lamping him there and then. Apologies to the Walton players concerned. I hope you and everyone connected with both clubs will understand that the rest of us who come to support Faversham Town do so in the correct spirit. The slogan is "Kick It Out", and I'm pleased that when racism rears its ugly head, that is exactly what Faversham Town did - and kicked it out the ground.
Meanwhile, this was a great result to cap a great season, and sets us on the upward path for the playoffs and promotion. We are confirmed as the Ryman League's top scorers - by a margin. 111 goals in a season - That's Entertainment! Tuesday night is going to be a cracker! BRING IT ON!
