Just seen in 'All things Lilywhite' notices that Renford Tenyue has left the club. I always enjoyed watching Renford play, his goals and goal celebrations. I particularly liked his first touch in a match. Sometimes the opposition had done their homework and knew what to expect. But sometimes a ball would be pumped forward hopefully, perhaps over hit. Cue the opposition defence to relax, '...well no one's going to get that'. Cue Renford to burst forward at 86 mph and latch onto the loose ball. Cue opposition defence to panic. He did this once away to Herne Bay after just 25 seconds. Somehow the Bay blocked his shot, but Cass was on hand to knock in the rebound. 0-1. I recollect he told me his best time for the 100 metres was 10.6 seconds, though admitted it was several years ago. You have to wonder if he was in the wrong sport. I would like to thank Renford for his contribution to the club and wish him the very best for the future. We will miss him. If Renford ever returns to Salters Lane in an opposition shirt, let's hope our players aren't half asleep at the kick off.

Yes, Ren has left.
It's a shame to lose him.
I understand he has had a hard season and probably hasn't played as much as he would have liked - but we will miss not having his versatility, willingness and just sheer pace coming off the bench.
I'm not quite sure where he will go either because the Ryman League registration deadline is shut until next season.
Maybe, he will go to a lower league club. Maybe, he won't play again until next season.
Either way, I would like to wish him all the best for the future.
I have to agree with you carparkman - I think Ren might well have made a good sprinter (it would have been really interesting if he came up against Adam Gemili in his days at Dartford).

A real shame to see Renford leave as he was a real character and a decent striker. I never understood why he wasn't given more starts in his time at faversham but he certainly made an impact as a sub.
Good luck to him wherever he ends up
