So, here we go then.
One last home match - our penultimate first-team fixture - this year.
Let's end on a high note!
Another interesting opponent in the shape of Walton & Hersham.
They have a new manager and have made some decent signings (mostly from the Ryman Premier League, raiding Dulwich Hamlet et al), so some decent players.
But they still haven't quite turned the corner, in terms of results - they were thrashed away at Corinthian-Casuals in mid-week.
Let's hope that doesn't change this weekend!
It may be worth checking for any pitch inspections on Saturday morning, as the U21 game was called off yesterday.
But I suspect that was more a precautionary measure with this match in mind - it hasn't exactly been hammering down all week, has it?
See you tomorrow (touch wood)!
Oh, and don't forget (*deep breath*):
1) There will be mulled wine and mince pies in the clubhouse at half-time and full-time. 2) The Christmas draw will take place after the match. Please return all tickets, before the draw. 3) There will be a Christmas-themed disco, free for all who want to come, scheduled to start at 7pm.
A busy day!

And entry to the halfway line Shoutymen/women area is by production of a Santa hat. No exceptions! No excuses!

Full-time score: Faversham Town 1 (Bourne) Walton & Hersham 1.
Certainly two points dropped today, unfortunately!
To the match:
Less than 30 seconds played, Josh Stanford and Liam King link-up to play in the overlapping Ryan Cooper, who delivers a low cross. Charley Robertson meets it at the back post but he fires wide.
W & H have their first chance with three minutes on the clock - I was still writing about that chance when they scored a minute later, so didn't catch much of their goal.
All I saw was their No.9 in all kinds of space and he drubbed his shot into the ground and past William Godmon - a really, really soft goal.
We're a little flat after falling behind but have our next chance on 11 minutes.
Josh Stanford starts a quick counter-attack and, after a few half-clearances, forces a full-length save from their keeper.
Two minutes later, we really should be level!
Stuart King fizzes a corner from the left to the back stick, where Matt Bourne is waiting. He heads back across goal but John Scarborough heads over from a matter of yards out.
We are having the best chances but W & H do have one more chance, before the end of the half.
Cooper attempts to head back to Godmon but an away striker cuts the ball out - fortunately, Will Godmon is close enough to make a reflex save from the snapshot.
We then create one final opening, before half-time.
A long throw from Ashley Brown, on for Josh MCcallum, falls to Stanford on the edge of the penalty box. His right-footed shot is tipped over - a decent save but a little bit of one for the cameras!
Ray T is in and out the dressing room at half-time within a couple of minutes.
He is clearly looking for a response from his players and he gets it on 49 minutes!
A long throw by Cooper is met by sponsors MOM Dave Botterill and Bourne is at the back post to head in - no sign of any celebrations, Matt heads straight into the net to get the ball.
Following the equaliser, there is no other word for it, it is complete and utter Faversham domination.
Stanford charges down the right, gets a bit of help of Dan Carrington, and curls inches wide on 55 minutes.
10 minutes later, L.King meets a left-wing cross from Brown - again, the ball falls just wide of the right-hand post!
Botterill is again in on the action on 69 minutes. He somehow heads wide an S.King corner from close-range.
And we are still creating good chances!
Another S.King corner is tipped onto his own crossbar by the W & H keeper on 75 minutes. The ball is still loose but we can't force it home.
As we continue to push forward in search of a winner, we are starting to leave a few gaps at the back.
No sooner had W & H scrambled away the very same S.King corner, then they are breaking in numbers, but Carrington is across to make an important block!
We are now creating chances from all angles.
This is typified when a clearance from Godmon finds S.King in space!
He passes to Robertson but the W & H goalkeeper again makes a decent stop.
On 88 minutes, we create one final opening.
S.King holds off a defender and collects a Cooper throw just inside the penalty area - he turns but curls just wide of the away keeper's right-hand post.
It is not our day and we simply have to stop giving teams 1-0 head starts!
But, still reasons to be positive:
1) We managed to get a point. Not the result we wanted (or deserved) but it would have been completely unjust if W & H had stolen it with a late counter-attack. 2) We remain 6th, albeit the teams in the Play-off places did pull away a little and there are plenty of sides behind us with games in hand. 3) Overall, our form is still pretty decent - just one defeat in our last 11 league fixtures. 4) Maxted is now back from suspension, Brown looks close to full fitness and we have options off the bench (we had Monger, Brown and Tenyue all on the bench today). 5) There is still plenty to play for this season - 57 points, to be precise and - let's not forget - the Robert Dyas League Cup.
