Don't go to Walton for the game. The Casuals are playing us at Merstham's Moatside ground. The good news is that this means a far swifter journey. The more worrying news is that after a brief enforced absence during which the goals have simply flooded in.... See you tomorrow! #imnotajinxhonest

Full-time score: Walton Casuals 1 Faversham Town 1 (S.King 49).
No real complaints with the result.
On another day, we could have snatched it but Walton Casuals were very lively on the break and had plenty of chances to win it themselves.
Credit to Will Godmon today for some excellent saves, which ultimately, earned us a point today!
For a team that has only conceded 21 goals in 24 league matches, I guess the greatest cause for concern is the fact we are struggling to keep clean sheets, which is unusual given how few goals we are giving away.
I think bringing Matt Bourne on today helped steady the ship, at a time when we were on the ropes a little - having been on the bench recently, it will be interesting to see whether he is given a run-out on Tuesday against Dulwich Hamlet.
In a way, that is a nice test for the defence because - if we can keep a clean sheet against them - there is no reason we can't keep a clean sheet against any team in our league!
Anyway, back to today - As always, an away point is always a good point.
We also managed to keep our unbeaten league run going and stay in the top five (thanks to other results)!
Hopefully, Mr Turner has done enough to get manager-of-the-month after some excellent results this month!
Onto Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday - Hopefully, I can make it.

Walton Casuals 1-1 Faversham Town
Starting line up:
William Godmon, Ryan Cooper, John Scarborough, Daniel Carrington, Jamie Maxted, Josh Stanford, George Monger, David Botterill, Charley Robertson, Liam King, Stuart King.
A cold afternoon, a heavy pitch against a strong and quick Walton Casuals side. We've had to work hard for our away point today. A draw, a fair result I'd say. And we deserve our point.
A first half of few chances. But early on, we create a couple of decent ones. Liam King, Josh Stanford and Charley Robertson combine, Ryan Cooper is released down the right, a deep cross to the back stick, but Stuart King's header is saved by the keeper. Corner. A long clearance by William Godmon isn't dealt with by the Casuals defense, into the area, Stuart King gets a shot away, but ultimately blocked/charged down. And then the chances seem to fizzle out. The half is characterised by us probing, plenty of possession, but not quite finding that final, killer ball. Whilst Casuals seem to be content to attempt to hit us on the break, but we're never really threatened-our defense coping and our keeper with no real saves to make.
0-0 at H-T.
Perfect start. We win possession in the middle through an interception (missed by whom), ball played into the box, Stuart King gets there first and stabs home high into the net (49 mins). But 10 minutes later, Casuals are level, attack down their left, into the box, the first shot is saved but the rebound is slammed home from 12 yards. The goal seems to spur Casuals on. A cross from their right, met by a firm downward header. It's in - No it's not-our keeper has somehow got down and kept it out-clasping the ball to himself. Top, top save. Casuals continue to press and we're indebted to our keeper for a string of fine saves to keep the scores level. Casuals are pushing and we're on the back foot. Another save from our keeper, we don't clear our lines, the resultant shot is just over. Substitution on 72: Matthew Bourne for Charley Robertson. And the change reduces the Casuals attacking threat. Correspondingly ours is increased. Possibly our best chance, just outside the area David Botterill squares to Josh Stanford who threads a ball into Daniel Carrington's well-timed run into the box, the shot finds the side netting. Just for a moment...... On 85 Renford Tenyue is on for Stuart King.
1-1 at F-T.
A contrasting performance to the ruthless efficiency with which Molesely were dispatched on Tuesday. It was a battle out there today. A hard-earned point.
Reasons to be cheerful:
a) the unbeaten run continues b) a good away point against a decent Casuals side which belied their league position c) a damn sight easier to get to/get back from Merstham than Walton. Result.
A team point today (does that even make sense?), but I'm tempted into that MOM area again. William Godmon - top class saves aplenty. Crucial to ensuring we brought that point home.
COYW.

Spot on dave!
Special word for William Godman. He played a huge role in helping us "earn" the point yesterday but has also been exceptional for us since joining. Good to see Matt Bourne's influence on the pitch too.
