A massive good luck to the boys for Wednesday's Robet Dyas League Cup against Kingstonian at Carshalton Athletic.
All those going - remember, it's a 7.30 kick-off.

Kingstonian (7th with games in hand over most teams above them) beat Bognor Regis (4th with even more games in hand due to FA trophy campaign) tonight. Hopefully their exertions just 48 hours before our final with take their toll if we work them hard.

Ee - Aye - Adio (as the old song used to go)
We're gone t 'win the cup!
Well, not quite yet. But this Wednesday is as close as we've come in a long, long time.
So as befits the occasion, a charabanc has been laid on to transport a bunch of the hale and hearty to the bright lights of London (well, Carshalton) for the Big Night Out!
The Shoutybus (TM) will be wending it's way from Salters Lane at 5pm, laden with Shoutyfolk looking to make some noise in support of our boys. (Sorry, but there's no spare seats left I'm afraid - but do make your own way to join us).
Let's be loud. Let's be proud!
The future's bright.
The future's Lilywhite!
COME ON YOU WHITES!!

Does anyone happen to know if any radio station is covering the game?

Hi statesidelilywhite, whilst I don't know for certain I doubt very much if Radio Kent will be covering tonight. Whilst they do coverage on Saturdays its very rare that they do mid week matches. Suggest you keep in touch on facebook and twitter. Otherwise the Ryman Isthmian website - Live Scores would be your best option

If you're looking at the scoreline and thinking that this must have been a drubbing - far far from it. This was a match that for 80 minutes could have gone either way. Where the woodwork and some very dubious decisions meant that Kingstonian were highly fortunate to be in front at half time. And where for much of the game the clearly better, more attacking, more effective team were Faversham Town. Some finishing of Ryman premier standard in the last 10 minutes when we were chasing and a bit frustrated meant the final score was what it was. But this was a close game. The boys in white did us proud. Each and every one of them.
More comment on the match and the occasion once I get my voice back. But for now, take that scoreline with a fair degree of scepticism. It is by no means the story of the game.
Come on you Whites!

Congratulations to Kingstonian. They passed the ball around well, defended resolutely and their finishing was top class scoring the type of goals that deserve to win cups.
However, I agree with Shouty Mark - I was proud of Faversham's overall performance and this was a game we were heavily involved in from the start. It could have gone the other way quite easily if certain incidents in the first 75 minutes went in our direction. For example, an equaliser ruled out by a debatable offsite decision (I await the video to check that one) plus hitting the crossbar and post before the 3rd goal went in with 10 minutes to go to effectively killing the match.
Well done lads and all involved in getting us to the final, keep playing like that and the play offs are very much on the agenda!

Thanks for the video post Fitb. But blimey, how obvious does that make the referee's mistake in ruling out our totally legitimate goal. As we said (very loudly) at the time, "if it comes off the defender, it can't be offside!". And it is clear it comes off the defender and only the defender. That’s not to say we'd have gone on to win, but it would most definitely have changed the shape of the evening.
But as both sets of highlights show, this was a match in which every Faversham Town player played their part.
Onwards to the Playoffs!!
